What do I need to bring?

Even though transportation to and from the heated ice huts are included, you could encounter water and slush during your angling excursion and the air temperatures outside can be very cold and windy. Therefore, insulated waterproof boots, warm clothes, mittens and a toque are strongly recommended.
Pack adequate food and beverages for your stay on the lake, because you will get hungry and thirsty.
You need to bring your own angling equipment (E.g. rod, reel, fishing line, tackle, tip-ups, spreader, fish finder) If you don't have rods we have some to rent for the day. Underwater Cameras available $$.
I do supply live bait for guests, you will given a minnow pail upon your arrival with pinhead minnows, Emerald Shiners are available on site $$
What do I need to bring for the overnight hut rentals?
Sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, food & beverages including drinking water.

Dalrymple Dave's supplies all cooking utensils, pots and pans, kettle, cutlery, 3 burner stove and an outdoor BBQ, plates & cups, salt & pepper.
Are there any benefits for first-time customers?

Visit Dalrymple Dave's Fish Huts 5 times and the 6th visit is on us.
Children 5 years of age and under, fish for FREE with 2 paying adults. Children 6 -12 are half price

Can I bring my own bait?
The MNR has strict rules in respect to bait. You cannot bring bait for example from Toronto to here, the risk of contaminating our Lake with a potential disease is very high. We provide bait on site which has been locally harvested.
*Under the Liquor License Act, if you are consuming alcohol or cannabis in one of Dalrymple Dave's Fish Huts you could be charged.
*Disclaimer: All ice anglers assume all personal liability and risk when stepping onto Dalrymple Dave's Fish Huts grounds and/or throughout the included shuttle during departure and return from ice hut grounds. Overall, Dalrymple Dave's Fish Huts is not responsible for any accidents or injuries during your stay. Waiver and Release must be filled out prior to getting on the ice.
